SS Kalgan (1895-1918) British passenger and cargo ship, SS Kalgan, was built in 1895 by Scott Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Greenock. During WW1, at the time of her loss, the Kalgan was owned by the China Navigation Co. Ltd., London.

SS Borga (1907-1918) The SS Borga was a defensively-armed British merchant ship of 1,046 tonnes, built in 1907 by Nylands Mekaniske Verksted, Oslo. At the time or her loss 11 years later, the steamer was under the ownership of Mann, Macneal & Co., Glasgow.
