Marketing and Communications Manager
£32,000 – £33,000 + excellent pension and group life assurance
The Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society is a national charity that exists to provide financial support to fishermen, merchant mariners and their dependants, retired and of working age, who face financial hardship or distress. We are currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team and work closely with the Chief Executive and Trustees to create engaging campaigns that will increase awareness of our cause and grow our charitable income.
In this position, you will enjoy a range of varied responsibilities which include planning and managing our annual appeals, liaising with our volunteers, managing the operation of our subsidiary Trading Company’s activities and assuming line management for our Office Administrator. Success in the role will require extensive experience as a marketing and communications professional, proven management and communication skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level.
