A monetary gift, small or large, one-off or regular, is always appreciated and assists us greatly in our day-to-day work and future planning. We rely heavily on generous donations from the public, who share our concern for men and women who have served at sea and suffer hardship at a time when they are most vulnerable.
In order to continue our life-changing work, we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for supporters to donate what they can, in a way that suits them.
Make a one-off gift within just a few clicks via our Charities Aid Foundation page. You can also Gift Aid your contribution, meaning the Society can claim an additional 25 pence from HM Revenue & Customs for every £1 you donate.

Post a contribution at any time to 1 North Pallant, Chichester PO19 1TL. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society’.
Should you wish to make a regular donation by Standing Order, please let us know and we will send you the necessary form. The Society very much appreciates such regular support, which provides a steady source of income and helps us plan for the future.
If you pay income tax or capital gains tax, Gift Aid can be applied to all your donations, meaning that for every £1 that you donate, the Society can claim an additional 25 pence from the tax man. It is only necessary to sign one form to cover all donations, until you notify us otherwise.
