Sea Shanty evening raises funds for Society!

The Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society wants to put on record its thanks to Chris Laurie and his fantastic team at The Red Lion, Arundel, who raised a magnificent £430 for the charity from their Sea Shanty evening held on Friday 14th November.

Starring seafaring songsters, The Wellington Wailers, everyone attending had a great time foot-stomping along to the band’s brilliant tunes. The Society is delighted to have the support of such a great pub and send a big shout out ‘thank you’ to everyone who donated to support our charity’s work on behalf of the maritime community.
