Mission Area Officer Suesan Brown has worked for the Fishermen’s Mission for 7 years, initially in the Boston area but more latterly in Grimsby. as our Honorary Agent. Overseeing a hugely demanding caseload, she works tirelessly to oversee 133 of our regular beneficiaries, which is the largest individual caseload of anyone in the UK, as well as the many individuals who receive one off grants. Over the course of the last year, she has submitted 116 applications and reviews, which is a remarkable total and fully exemplifies her dedication as one of our busiest HAs. Well renowned for her warm and welcoming personality, she always takes time with individuals to ensure she has a full understanding of everything they need, which is then reflected in the quality of her applications.
Suesan’s enthusiasm, consideration and compassion is clear to all and very much appreciated by those she works. Ever willing to go the extra mile for those in need, she never fails to respond to urgent queries or issues.
As such Suesan is highly deserving of an award to recognise her dedicated service and exceptional commitment to the maritime community.
