Domestic Power Suppliers Disadvantage the Elderly (23/2/15)

Chief Executive, Malcolm Williams, writes in The Daily Telegraph 21st February…

SIR – The majority of our Charity’s older beneficiaries never will be on the Internet. Nor is the idea of switching suppliers to get the best deal – a concept that will be familiar to many. They tend to be loyal customers. Now that the latter concept is no longer something that our major domestic power suppliers understand, a large number of older people – often the biggest proportionate users of heating – are being seriously financially disadvantaged. What are suppliers going to do about it?
