Practical Support

At times of desperate need, a friendly face and a dedicated case worker can offer support by providing real comfort, as well as companionship on dark days.

Our volunteers, known as Honorary Agents, provide a helping hand to those in times of hardship. They work directly with beneficiaries all over the country and will often be from the local area.

They make a huge difference to lives by offering:

• A friendly face and reassurance
• A named contact to deal with your case
• A point of liaison in dealing with your application for financial support
• Detailed reviews, to ensure the support we provide meets your needs, and to identify where we could do more, such as providing equipment or adaptations for the home to make day-to-day life that bit easier
